It is becoming essential to have a "Fire Mute" function on background music systems in public spaces.

The reason is to mute any background music when an alarm is in progress allowing members of the public to clearly hear the alarm.

Many systems have been adapted with an external relay and power supply to provide this function. not an elegant solution.
